Good News For Teenage Acne Sufferers

31 October 2012

Skin Medical has been approved by Healthcare Commission to treat teenagers as young as 16 years with NLite laser in the fight to reduce and eliminate acne outbreaks in young people.

Up until now legislation restricted all registered clinics to treat persons 18 years or over. Skin Medical is the first practice in the North West of England to receive this accreditation by the Healthcare Commission. The Healthcare Commission is part of the NHS. It inspects clinic and has the discretion to appoint independent hospitals such as Skin Medical with extended treatment rights.

NLite is currently considered to be the most effective treatment for active acne. For treatment information see our NLite-V page.
